Jabalpur's Major Infrastructure Boost: ₹748 Crore Sewerage Project

The Jabalpur Municipal Corporation has invited bids for a ₹747.75 crore sewerage infrastructure project under the AMRUT 2.0 initiative, aimed at covering the remaining areas of Zone-01. The project is scheduled for completion within 48 months, including the monsoon period.

The comprehensive scope includes survey, soil investigation, design, construction, commissioning, and testing of a 682.275 km sewer network. Key works involve laying, jointing, and testing sewer pipelines integrated with the existing trunk lines, along with the construction of manholes and other sewerage appurtenances.

The project will also provide house sewer chambers and lateral connections for 165,999 consumer lines, covering both new and existing residential units, public toilets, and institutional buildings in Zone-01. Additionally, the contract includes the construction and commissioning of sewage pumping stations (SPS), pumping mains, and sewage treatment plants (STPs) to ensure efficient wastewater management.

The last date for bid submission is October 10, 2025.
