Innovation Anchored: Henkel Opens New Bengaluru Hub

Henkel has inaugurated a new customer application centre in Bengaluru, strengthening its capabilities in co-developing, testing, and validating advanced solutions for electronics manufacturers.

Spanning around 5,000 sq. ft., the facility serves as a key hub for the India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) region, with nearly half of the space dedicated to laboratory and testing functions. The centre focuses on adhesives, thermal management, and coating technologies, and is designed to replicate real-world electronics manufacturing conditions. This allows manufacturers to evaluate and optimise materials and processes locally, reducing reliance on overseas testing facilities.

A significant portion of the investment has been channelled into advanced laboratory equipment and co-development infrastructure, enabling collaborative innovation. The facility will support a wide range of sectors, including telecom and 5G, data centres, AI computing, electric vehicles, industrial automation, and medical electronics.

With capabilities such as thermal testing, precision dispensing, and rapid prototyping, the centre enables Henkel’s experts to work closely with customers, accelerating product development cycles and helping bring advanced electronic solutions to market faster.
