Ambuja Neotia Group plans to invest approximately Rs 2,200 crore to add around 1,800 beds through eight upcoming healthcare facilities over the next four to five years.
Its healthcare arm, Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture (ANHVL), currently operates four facilities across West Bengal and Assam with a combined capacity of around 700 beds, which will scale to a total capacity of roughly 2,500 beds upon completion. The Group is expanding its footprint across eastern India through a strategic mix of new developments and partnerships. In the Howrah district of West Bengal, ANHVL plans to operationalise a 120-bed women and child care facility by April 2029, involving an investment of approx. Rs 150 crore. In Durgapur, the company is developing another women and child care facility in partnership with Amit Metaliks, where the partner provides the land and infrastructure while ANHVL manages operations. To optimize capital efficiency, Ambuja Neotia Group is leveraging an asset-light model for several new healthcare developments—such as projects in Raipur, Guwahati, and Durgapur—reducing upfront capital requirements while accelerating regional expansion.
The planned projects will significantly strengthen healthcare infrastructure and broaden the Group’s regional presence across eastern India.
