Hangyo’s New Tirupati Plant: 100k Litres of Daily Coolness!

Hangyo Ice Creams has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tirupati, strengthening its production and distribution capabilities in South India.

The new plant features automated production systems and advanced quality control infrastructure, with a manufacturing capacity of 100,000 litres of ice cream per day. The facility is expected to improve supply chain efficiency and support the company’s growing market presence across the region.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by TG Bharath, Arani Srinivasulu, TV Mohandas Pai, and other dignitaries.

Speaking at the event, TG Bharath said the project would contribute to employment generation and further strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s food processing and manufacturing ecosystem.

The Tirupati facility has been developed with a focus on sustainability, operational efficiency, and supporting Hangyo’s expanding retail network. Founded in 1997 in Mangaluru by the Pai brothers, Hangyo has grown into one of India’s leading ice cream brands, with operations across seven states and a retail network of more than 45,000 outlets.
