Haier's India Blitz: ₹3,500 Cr. Investment for Third Mega Plant

Consumer durables major Haier Appliances India is planning an investment of ₹3,500 crore to set up its third manufacturing facility in the country. The company is currently evaluating potential locations, with southern and western India under consideration, and expects to finalise its plans next year. Haier India is also targeting revenues of ₹14,500 crore in calendar year 2026.

The announcement was made alongside the recent launch of the company’s Gravity AI Series air conditioners at its Greater Noida facility.

Speaking to BusinessLine, N. S. Satish, President of Haier Appliances India, said, “We are looking at setting up our third manufacturing facility in India. The possible locations could be in the southern or western region. We expect to finalise the plans by next year and make investments of ₹3,500 crore in phases for the third facility, funded through internal accruals.”
