Pedestrian movement around Gurugram’s commercial hubs is set for a major upgrade, as the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HMRTC) has given in-principle approval to connect the upcoming Shankar Chowk footbridge directly to the Cyber City Rapid Metro Station. Built by DLF as part of its CSR initiatives, the 150-metre facility will feature three key access points, seamlessly linking Udyog Vihar, Cyber Hub, and the Metro station. Designed to keep commuters safe from busy road traffic and streamline last-mile travel, the project is scheduled for completion within two months, subject to final design approvals from HMRTC.
