The Gujarat government has unveiled its State Integrated Logistics Master Plan (ILMP), along with City Logistics Plans (CLPs) for Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, and Junagadh.
Launched at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conclave in Rajkot on 12 January 2026, the ILMP outlines a project pipeline valued at over ₹1.80 lakh crore for 2026–2047. The plan adopts a multimodal approach to strengthen logistics across road, rail, air, and sea, aiming to reduce transportation costs, enhance supply chain efficiency, and support the state’s growing industrial and export sectors. At the city level, the CLPs will address urban freight challenges, including congestion and last-mile connectivity.
Key priorities of the ILMP include the development of logistics parks, multimodal hubs, and improved connectivity to ports and industrial corridors. The strategy aligns with national logistics reforms and the PM Gati Shakti initiative, positioning Gujarat as a leading investment destination for manufacturing, MSMEs, exports, and e-commerce.
