The Union Railway Board has defreezed three long-stalled railway projects in Tamil Nadu Minister M. K. Stalinam corridor were returned to Southern Railway.
Southern Railway officials said the revival of these lines would greatly improve rail connectivity across northern and coastal Tamil Nadu, subject to land acquisition, funding approvals, and completion of detailed project reports. The move is expected to enhance regional mobility and strengthen the state’s overall transportation network.
