In a major boost to India's tech and renewable sectors, Luxembourg’s Innovation Platform Capital (iPC) has unveiled plans to invest ₹83,480 crore in Karnataka for a pioneering green hydrogen and hyperscale data center platform. The ambitious project will ultimately feature a 2,250 MW IT capacity and a 1,000 MW green hydrogen facility.
Kicking off with a ₹17,114 crore first phase, iPC intends to develop a 500 MW green power complex and two distinct data center campuses totaling 400 MW. The company has requested 1,000 acres for the project and is prioritizing sustainability by planning to rely entirely on treated industrial effluent for its daily water usage. This landmark investment is expected to solidify Karnataka's position as a premier destination for next-generation digital infrastructure and clean energy development.
