Grand Opening: Inside SJVN's New ₹40-Crore Mega Auditorium

SJVN has inaugurated a newly constructed state-of-the-art auditorium at its corporate headquarters to host official events, conferences, seminars, workshops, and cultural programmes.

The facility was inaugurated by Chairman and Managing Director Bhupender Gupta in the presence of Director (Personnel) Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Finance) Parthajit De, and Director (Projects) Suprakash Adhikari.

The newly developed auditorium has a seating capacity of 600 people and a built-up area of nearly 6,000 square metres. Constructed at an estimated cost of around ₹40 crore, the facility is equipped with modern seating systems, advanced lifts and escalators, a centralised building management system, and integrated utility support infrastructure aimed at improving operational efficiency and user experience.

As part of the company’s sustainability initiatives, the auditorium also features a 50 KW solar power system, reflecting SJVN’s focus on renewable energy adoption and environmentally responsible infrastructure development across its projects and corporate establishments in India.
