Godrej Properties to Build ₹3,800 Crore Project in Hyderabad

Godrej Properties Ltd. (GPL), one of India’s leading real estate developers, has emerged as the highest bidder for a prime ~7.825-acre land parcel in Kukatpally (KPHB), Hyderabad. The site was awarded through an e-auction conducted by the Telangana Housing Board (TGHB), facilitated by MSTC, with a winning bid of ₹547.75 crore. The formal allotment letter will be issued by TGHB upon completion of the necessary procedures.

Strategically located near HITEC City—Hyderabad’s key IT and business hub—the land parcel offers significant development potential. GPL estimates a revenue potential of approximately ₹3,800 crore from the development of premium residential apartments across various configurations.

Kukatpally is one of Hyderabad’s most well-established residential corridors, known for its robust social infrastructure including reputed schools, healthcare facilities, retail centers, and seamless connectivity to commercial zones.

This acquisition further strengthens Godrej Properties’ footprint in the Hyderabad market, following the success of recent projects like Godrej Madison Avenue in Kokapet and Godrej Regal Pavilion in Rajendranagar. It reaffirms the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality, premium housing in fast-growing urban markets.
