The Goa State Cabinet has approved the Goa State Logistics and Warehousing Incentives Scheme, 2025, aimed at positioning the state as a competitive logistics hub.
Running for three years, the scheme aligns with the Goa Logistics and Warehousing Policy, 2023, and complements national initiatives such as PM GatiShakti and the National Logistics Policy. It focuses on strengthening infrastructure, encouraging private sector investment, and promoting skill development.
Key incentives include:
Reimbursement of 10–15% of eligible fixed capital investment (up to ₹50 lakh per unit), Interest subsidy of 50% for 3–5 years (capped at ₹25 lakh annually), 100% reimbursement of stamp duty and registration fees (up to ₹10 lakh), Electricity duty reimbursement for cold chain units (capped at ₹5 lakh per year), Skill development subsidy of ₹5,000 per Goan worker (up to 1,000 workers annually), To qualify for the full range of benefits, enterprises must ensure that at least 60% of their workforce comprises Goan residents.
