GB Realty Pours Rs 5,000 Crore into Luxury Living

GB Realty, a key subsidiary of the Optas Group, has announced an ambitious investment of over Rs 5,000 crore across the next three years. The capital injection will fuel the expansion of the developer's luxury and ultra-luxury residential footprint, alongside strategic diversification into new real estate segments throughout North India.

Looking further ahead, the company targets a cumulative investment of Rs 10,000 crore over five years, with roughly Rs 3,500 crore dedicated solely to high-end residential projects. Funding will be strategically sourced through internal accruals, customer advances, debt, and institutional or joint-venture partnerships.

Currently, GB Realty has successfully launched three major developments spanning Aerocity (Mohali) and Eco City-1 & Eco City-2 (New Chandigarh), alongside strategic land reserves earmarked for future township projects. Founder Gurinder Bhatti noted, "A significant part of this capital will be directed towards luxury and ultra-luxury residences, where we believe North India presents a substantial opportunity."

Looking toward its long-term vision, GB Realty plans to deliver 10 new projects by 2036, targeting an enterprise valuation of Rs 50,000 crore.
