Ganesh Infraworld's Big Dig: A ₹708 Crore Contract

Ganesh Infraworld has forayed into the mining operations sector with a major contract for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of heavy mining equipment at the Nigahi Mine in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.

Valued at ₹708 crore and scheduled for completion over 24 months, the contract marks the company’s strategic expansion beyond EPC into mining and infrastructure services. The scope includes comprehensive O&M services for a wide fleet of mining equipment—excavators, drills, dozers, graders, tippers, water sprinklers, and pumps.

Ganesh Infraworld will be responsible for routine and preventive maintenance, major repairs, supply of spares and consumables, statutory compliance, and the deployment of skilled manpower to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted mining operations.

This milestone underscores the company’s growing capability to manage large-scale, high-value infrastructure projects and strengthens its presence in the mining services domain. The move represents a significant step in Ganesh Infraworld’s diversification strategy, positioning it for sustained growth in long-term, infrastructure-linked sectors.
