Gajraula Gears Up: Bids Open for Major Sugar Mill Expansion

Uttar Pradesh Co-operative Sugar Factories Federation Ltd. (UP SugarFed), on behalf of The Kisan Sahkari Chini Mills Ltd., has invited bids for the establishment of a state-of-the-art sugar plant through the expansion of the existing facility located at Gajraula, Amroha district, Uttar Pradesh.

The scope of work under this EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract includes the supply, erection, and commissioning of equipment for the expansion of the current sugar mill from a crushing capacity of 2,500 TCD to 4,900 TCD (tonnes of cane per day), operating on a 22-hour daily basis, for the production of sulphurless refined sugar. The contract also encompasses civil construction, including foundations and factory buildings.

Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the plant for three crushing seasons and two off-seasons following successful commissioning.

The project must be completed within 18 months from the date of agreement.
The last date for submission of bids is 24 June, 2025.
