Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) has greenlit a ₹2,449 crore investment for the 424.65 km Kochi–Thoothukudi natural gas pipeline. Spanning Kerala and Tamil Nadu, the project boasts a capacity of 6.84 MMSCMD—with 1.71 MMSCMD designated as common-carrier capacity. Aimed at accelerating cleaner fuel adoption, the project opens up major opportunities for EPC contractors, manufacturers, and energy infrastructure service providers across southern India.
