Fueling Growth: ONGC Unlocks 1 Lakh SCM Daily Gas in Assam

ONGC has successfully commissioned gas evacuation facilities at the Khoraghat GGS-1 in Assam's Golaghat district. This milestone enables the utilization of 1 lakh SCM of gas per day from the Jorhat asset. Integrated with the North East Gas Grid (developed by Indradhanush Gas Grid Ltd.) and the Dergaon–Dimapur Pipeline, the project brings natural gas connectivity to Nagaland, strengthens regional energy security, and supports the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative by reducing gas flaring and fueling local industries, transport, and households.
