DPIFS Solutions, led by Darpan Jayraj Kale, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Uttar Pradesh at the 2026 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
The MoU outlines a major initiative to develop AI-enabled smart traffic management and urban surveillance infrastructure across multiple cities in Uttar Pradesh. With an estimated investment of Rs 3,800 crore, the project will focus on the design, development, and integration of advanced traffic management systems and urban surveillance networks. Commenting on the initiative, Darpan Jayraj Kale said, “This project will transform urban mobility and security, helping create smarter and safer cities for the people of Uttar Pradesh.”
The project is expected to generate over 500 jobs and is slated to commence in the 2026–27 financial year. It will deploy technologies such as adaptive traffic signals, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) systems, smart poles, and surveillance cameras in major cities including Lucknow, Noida, Kanpur, Agra, and Varanasi. The initiative will be implemented under a public-private partnership or build-operate-transfer (BOT) model.
