DLF's ₹6,000 Cr. Gurugram Real Estate Push

DLF Cyber City Developers Ltd. (DCCDL), the rental arm of real estate major DLF Ltd., has announced an investment of approximately ₹6,000 crore to develop 7.5 million sq. ft. of premium office and retail spaces in Gurugram.

The expansion is aimed at meeting the rising demand for sustainable, Grade A++ commercial developments. DCCDL—a joint venture between DLF (67%) and Singapore’s GIC (33%)—has commenced construction on 5.5 million sq. ft. of office space under ‘DLF Downtown, Gurugram’ and the 20 lakh sq. ft. ‘DLF Mall of India, Gurugram’, with 3.7 million sq. ft. already completed.

Currently, DCCDL’s rental portfolio spans 40.4 million sq. ft., comprising 36.4 million sq. ft. of office space and 4 million sq. ft. of retail space.

Sriram Khattar, Vice Chairman, DLF Ltd., noted that strong demand from Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and international retail brands continues to fuel growth, supported by India’s expanding economy and growing middle class. The company plans to add 1.3 million sq. ft. of retail space in the current year and an additional 2–2.5 million sq. ft. over the next three years.
