Deepak Chem Tech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deepak Nitrite, has commenced operations at its new ₹515-crore nitric acid plant in Nandesari, Vadodara district, Gujarat.
The facility, which became operational on 4 December 2025, is expected to strengthen the company’s backward and forward integration efforts, ensuring secure supply of key intermediates and enhancing resilience across its chemical value chain. The plant will significantly boost production capacity and help meet rising demand for nitric acid within the industry.
The company stated that the new unit will further enhance its competitive advantage.
