Deccan Gold Mines has reached a major milestone at its Bhalukona Ni-Cu-PGE project in Chhattisgarh, reporting encouraging preliminary results that indicate over 4 million tonnes of mineralisation at an estimated 0.24% nickel equivalent (Ni_Eq). Located in the Mahasamund district across roughly 30 sq. km, the site has seen 19 months of systematic exploration, including drone magnetic and LiDAR mapping, sampling, and beneficiation studies. Secured via the Bhalukona–Jamnidih Composite Licence in April 2025, the venture positions Deccan Gold Mines as an early pioneer in domestic nickel exploration while laying a solid foundation for future resource expansion.
