Dilip Buildcon’s joint venture, DBL-STL, has secured an Advance Work Order (AWO) for the Bharat Net Phase-III broadband connectivity project, funded by the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF).
The project, valued at ₹2,631.14 crore, involves designing, supplying, constructing, installing, upgrading, operating, and maintaining a middle-mile network to enhance broadband connectivity in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. DBL will execute 70.23% of the total work under this contract.
The project includes a three-year construction phase, followed by a 10-year maintenance period to ensure seamless network operation.
Bharat Net Phase-III aims to bridge the digital divide by improving connectivity in remote and underserved areas, benefiting residents, businesses, and government services in the region.
