Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED), Jammu & Kashmir has re-invited bids for the execution of a sewerage scheme under the Pollution Abatement of Dal Lake (Uncovered Areas) project in Srinagar, on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) fixed-cost turnkey basis.
The scope of work includes comprehensive survey, design, preparation of drawings, and execution of the sewerage system. This entails providing, laying, testing, and commissioning of the sewer network, along with the construction of manholes, sewage treatment plants (STPs), intermediate pumping stations (IPS), and other related infrastructure. The contract also covers operation and maintenance for five years following a six-month trial run.
The estimated project cost is ₹297.56 crore, with a completion timeline of 30 months, excluding the trial run period.
This bid replaces the earlier tender issued on 17 September 2024, which was cancelled as per the decision of the UT-level contract committee in its meeting held on 29 March 2025.
