CIVL Delivers Landmark DN 3000 MM Butterfly Valves

Chemtech Industrial Valves Ltd. (CIVL) has achieved a significant engineering milestone with the successful manufacture and supply of DN 3000 MM double offset butterfly valves to a leading integrated steel plant in Gujarat.

Engineered for flare stack isolation in the plant’s blast furnace unit, these high-performance valves underscore CIVL’s technical prowess in delivering large-diameter, critical isolation solutions for heavy industrial applications. Weighing nearly 12 tonnes each, the valves represent a major accomplishment in design, fabrication, and quality assurance.

Such large and complex isolation valves are typically produced by only a select group of global manufacturers. CIVL secured the order in a highly competitive bidding process against several reputed multinational valve makers—reinforcing its global competitiveness and engineering excellence.

In a company statement, CIVL noted:

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Mumbai, CIVL specialises in large-diameter gas line valves and operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Wada, near Mumbai.
