Century Plyboards Fires Up New Resin Plant in Andhra Pradesh

Century Plyboards (India) Ltd has announced the commencement of commercial production at the newly established resin manufacturing facility of its step-down subsidiary, Century Adhesives & Chemicals Ltd.

Located in Naidupetta, Andhra Pradesh, the plant commenced operations on May 28, 2026. The new facility is expected to enhance the group's manufacturing capacity in the adhesives and chemicals segment while supporting its backward integration strategy.

The commissioning of the resin unit is aimed at improving supply chain efficiency, ensuring better availability of key raw materials, and catering to rising demand from the construction, furniture, and allied industries. The development also strengthens Century Plyboards’ presence in the value-added chemicals and adhesives business, supporting its long-term growth objectives.
