A Rs 427 crore urban makeover is coming to Buxar. The Centre has greenlit all nine development proposals submitted by the Buxar Nagar Parishad under the national Urban Challenge Scheme. Backed by the Union Budget's Rs 1 lakh crore Urban Challenge Fund, the upcoming projects will transform the city’s infrastructure. Residents can look forward to a Rs 120 crore Integrated Command and Control Centre, modern multi-level transport hubs and bus terminals, new commercial and shopping complexes, and a Rs 22 crore Ganga riverfront tourism initiative complete with a floating restaurant.
