CCSPL to Develop 45 MW Solar Plant for MSEDCL

Choice Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. (CCSPL), a leading consulting firm and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Choice International Ltd, has been awarded a prestigious mandate by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL) to develop a 45 MW (AC) solar power plant under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (MSKVY 2.0), a component of the PM-KUSUM scheme focused on feeder-level solarisation across Maharashtra.

As the strategic consulting partner, Choice will deliver comprehensive advisory services, including project structuring, regulatory compliance, and implementation oversight across 18 substations. The scope also includes supervising the installation of 11kV or 22kV lines, and managing testing and commissioning activities. The plant will operate under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and promote decentralized solar generation for agricultural feeders.

Arun Poddar, CEO of Choice International Ltd, remarked, “This project underscores our strong commitment to renewable energy and sustainable development. We’re proud to support Maharashtra’s clean energy ambitions and contribute to India’s green energy transition.”

The project is expected to generate ₹700 crore in revenue, deliver long-term value to rural communities, and further solidify CCSPL’s position as a leader in sustainable infrastructure and green energy consulting.
