CCEA Unleashes ₹14,115 Crore for Mega Highway & Tunnel Projects

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has greenlit two major National Highway projects totaling ₹14,115 crore. Designed to tackle urban congestion and boost regional economies, the investment funds a six-lane tunnel connecting Delhi's Dwarka Expressway to Vasant Kunj, alongside a four-lane access-controlled Greenfield highway between Kanpur and Kabrai. Together, these projects will dramatically streamline traffic in the capital and reinforce the vital Bhopal–Kanpur Economic Corridor.
