Blue Energy Motors, India’s trailblazer in zero-emission heavy-duty trucks, has delivered a fleet of LNG-powered vehicles to Inland World Logistics. This marks the logistics company’s first significant step toward greener, more sustainable transportation.
The official handover took place at Blue Energy Motors’ state-of-the-art facility in Chakan, Pune. This milestone underscores the company's commitment to decarbonising freight transport by promoting liquefied natural gas (LNG) as a cleaner, more cost-effective alternative to diesel. The LNG trucks offer up to 30% lower CO₂ emissions while maintaining full payload capacity and performance, delivering both environmental and economic value to ESG-conscious logistics operators.
With over 800 LNG trucks already in operation across India, Blue Energy Motors’ fleet has collectively clocked more than 50 million kilometers—resulting in carbon savings of approximately 14,000 tonnes. That’s equivalent to the annual carbon absorption of over 560,000 trees, reinforcing the company’s vital role in building a cleaner, more sustainable transport ecosystem.
