The Government of Bihar has unveiled blueprints for a 651-acre sports hub in Patna's proposed Patliputra Greenfield Satellite Township. Directed by Urban Development and Housing Minister Nitish Mishra and Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh, the initiative allocates 225 acres for a premier Sports City, 239 acres for a modern sports complex, and 187 acres for a golf course. Designed to meet Olympic standards, the project seeks to cultivate elite athletic talent, host major competitions, and serve as a model for sports infrastructure across all 12 proposed townships in the state.
