Ircon International, in joint venture with JPW Infratech, has secured a ₹755.78 crore contract from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) for a key infrastructure project in Madhya Pradesh.
The scope includes construction of the roadbed, minor bridges, buildings, track installation (excluding supply of rails, sleepers, and thick web switches), along with general civil and electrical works for the new broad-gauge (BG) line between Pipaliya Nankar and Budni stations—covering chainages from 129.000 to 198.000 km in the Indore–Budni section of West Central Railway.
The project will be executed over 42 months and is expected to significantly enhance connectivity in the region, supporting both freight and passenger movement. Ircon International noted that this contract reinforces its commitment to delivering vital infrastructure projects that contribute to India’s economic development and transport modernization.
