Maharashtra is significantly scaling up its electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem. Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik recently announced initiatives to establish charging hubs at MSRTC depots and RTO offices statewide. Additionally, the state is evaluating a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework to utilize spaces under flyovers managed by the MMRDA, MSRDC, and PWD for robust charging infrastructure, ensuring seamless support for the rising adoption of EVs in Maharashtra.
