Bidding Open: ₹3,116 Cr. Central Secretariat Project in New Delhi

The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has floated a tender for the construction of Common Central Secretariat Buildings 8 and 9, located at Plot No. 23 B & C, Maulana Azad Road, New Delhi.

Valued at ₹3,116.38 crore, the contract is a part of the Central Vista redevelopment project, which aims to consolidate, modernise, and streamline government infrastructure in the national capital. The scope of work includes the complete construction of two high-capacity, state-of-the-art secretariat buildings, featuring modern architectural design, advanced office facilities, and sustainable building systems.

The project will integrate eco-friendly construction practices, adhere to seismic safety standards, and feature efficient office layouts to support the evolving administrative needs of various central government ministries.

Interested bidders must submit their proposals by 16 September 2025.
