BHEL’s Big Win: A ₹1,500 Crore Boost from Hindalco

State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has announced that it has secured an order valued between ₹1,200 crore and ₹1,500 crore from Hindalco Industries.

The company said it has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Aditya Aluminium, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hindalco Industries, for the execution of the project.

Under the contract, BHEL will be responsible for the design, engineering, manufacture, and supply of equipment to the project site, as well as unloading, storage, erection, commissioning, and performance guarantee testing. The order covers a 2×150 MW boiler, turbine, and generator (BTG) package, while civil works are excluded from the scope.
