Ball Corporation, a leading US-based aluminium packaging manufacturer, is expanding its footprint in India with plans to establish a brand-new beverage can manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh.
Backed by customer contracts, the upcoming plant will feature two advanced production lines and is slated to begin operations by 2029. This strategic addition will complement Ball's existing manufacturing hubs in Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, creating a more robust, nationwide network to supply diverse can formats to both international and domestic brands.
The expansion underscores the rising shift toward sustainable packaging solutions, with aluminium increasingly favored over single-use plastics across the Indian market.
