AZAD Secures 8-Year Hot-Section Turbine Deal with Mitsubishi

AZAD Engineering Ltd has been appointed as a Single Source Supplier Partner by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd (MHI), following the signing of an eight-year Long-Term Contract & Price Agreement (LTCPA) to supply highly engineered hot-section Nozzle Vane Segments for gas turbine engines.

This milestone represents a significant advancement for India’s precision engineering sector, marking a transition from manufacturing compressor (cold-section) airfoils and other turbine components to producing critical combustion hot-section Nozzle Vane Segments.

The agreement further strengthens Azad Engineering’s collaboration with MHI, a global leader in turbine manufacturing. Under the contract, the components will be supplied to MHI’s dedicated lean manufacturing facility, designed for the production of advanced hot-section nozzle vanes for power generation turbine platforms worldwide.

This partnership underscores Azad Engineering’s expanding expertise in high-precision engineering and positions the company as a key player in the global gas turbine supply chain.
