Mistral Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AXISCADES Technologies, has secured a significant development order from the Combat Aircraft Systems Development & Integration Centre (CASDIC), DRDO, under the Ministry of Defence.
The contract involves the design and development of 10 prototype Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for the upgraded cooling system of the Su-30MKI fighter aircraft. This prototype phase marks the beginning of a larger engagement, with a follow-on production order anticipated for approximately 600 units.
The design and development phase is scheduled for completion within 18 months, followed by a production timeline of three to five years. The development contract is valued at ₹3 crore (excluding GST), while the total production value is estimated at ₹150 crore over the duration of the program.
This project represents a key milestone in AXISCADES’ enduring collaboration with DRDO and underscores its continued role in supporting the advancement of indigenous defence technologies.
