Ashoka Buildcon, through its joint venture with Aakshya Infra Project, has received the letter of acceptance (LOA) from Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam for the construction of a major bridge over the River Gandak.
The project entails building the HLRCC Bridge, spanning 2,280 meters, along with additional major bridges and approach roads connecting Fatehabad in Paroo block to Chanchaliya in Saraiya block, Muzaffarpur district. The contract will be executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis, with an accepted bid value of ₹474.38 crore, inclusive of GST.
As the lead partner in the joint venture with a 51% stake, Ashoka Buildcon’s share of the contract amounts to ₹241.93 crore, including GST. The project is expected to significantly improve regional connectivity and strengthen infrastructure in Bihar.
