Arnya Launches New ₹1,000 Crore Fund for Urban Redevelopment

Arnya Real Estate Fund Advisors, an alternative investment management firm, in collaboration with Mumbai-based Supreme Universal, has launched a private equity fund targeting real estate redevelopment projects in Mumbai and Pune.

The fund has a target corpus of ₹1,000 crore, including a base fund of ₹500 crore and a green-shoe option of an additional ₹500 crore. It will primarily focus on mid to premium segment redevelopment projects, with Supreme Universal serving as the execution partner, bringing in strong on-ground operational expertise.

Sharad Mittal, Founder of Arnya Real Estate Fund, emphasised that the fund will exclude investments in distressed assets or low-cost housing, maintaining a sharp focus on projects with robust market fundamentals and strategic urban locations.

The initiative is set to leverage the rising demand for quality housing and capitalize on the momentum in the redevelopment space, driven by favourable regulations, limited land supply, and the growing preference for upgraded urban living in Maharashtra’s key metros.
