AP Gets ₹4,500 Cr Data Center Boost from Anant Raj

Real estate developer Anant Raj has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh government to invest ₹4,500 crore in establishing advanced data centre and cloud services infrastructure in the state.

The investment—channeled through its subsidiary Anant Raj Cloud (ARCPL)—will be executed in two phases, with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board facilitating coordination and approvals to ensure timely implementation. The project is projected to create approximately 8,500 direct and 7,500 indirect jobs, giving a substantial boost to the state’s digital ecosystem. This expansion adds to Anant Raj’s existing 307 MW of data centre capacity currently under development.

The company presently operates 28 MW of IT load at its Manesar and Panchkula facilities and aims to scale its total capacity to 307 MW across Manesar, Panchkula, and Rai by FY32. It also targets achieving about 117 MW of installed IT load by FY28. The initiative underscores Anant Raj’s long-term strategy to expand its data centre footprint nationwide.
