Adani Green Lights Up Gujarat with New 87.5 MW Project

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), through its step-down subsidiaries, has successfully commissioned 87.5 MW of renewable energy capacity at Khavda, Gujarat, marking a key milestone in its ongoing expansion of green energy assets.

With this addition, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has risen to 16,078 MW, further reinforcing its position as India’s largest renewable energy company and a leading force in the country’s clean energy transition.

The Khavda project is part of AGEL’s broader strategy to develop large-scale solar and wind installations in high-potential zones like Gujarat. It also supports the company’s long-term goal of achieving 50 GW of renewable capacity by FY2030.

This latest development highlights AGEL’s commitment to scalable, sustainable energy solutions and its vital role in helping India meet its net-zero and energy security targets.
