Mumbai-based Supreme Petrochem is sharpening its focus on its new Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) plant and an expanding range of value-added products.
Currently in trial production, the ABS plant is expected to drive growth within the next five to six months, particularly in the automotive sector. The first phase of the project is projected to generate around ₹800 crore, while the full-scale plant could contribute up to ₹1,700 crore annually. Despite global market disruptions in Q2, the company aims to exceed its FY26 volume performance.
Rakesh Nayyar, Executive Director, said, “Trials are ongoing with various processors. Once the material is accepted by the market, we’ll commence commercial sales to the auto sector within five to six months.”
The company is also strengthening its export footprint across the Gulf and Asian markets, anticipating rising demand as production shifts away from Europe and the US.
