Vayona Energy Lands 702 MW Wind Deal with Tata Power

Vayona Energy, a Murugappa Group-backed wind turbine manufacturer, has entered into a supply agreement with Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) for the deployment of advanced wind energy solutions.

Under the agreement, Vayona Energy will supply 195 units of its SG 3.6-145 wind turbines for TPREL’s renewable energy projects across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. The installations are expected to contribute a cumulative capacity addition of 702 MW.

Commenting on the development, Prashant Jain, Executive Vice Chairman of Vayona Energy, stated that the company values TPREL’s continued trust and looks forward to further strengthening the partnership while advancing sustainable growth through these large-scale renewable energy projects.
