The BC Jindal Group, a leading Indian conglomerate, has unveiled plans to achieve 5 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030 through its dedicated green energy arm, Jindal India Renewable Energy. To realize this ambitious target, the group will invest $2.5 billion (approx. ₹21,500 crore) over the next five years.

This strategic initiative highlights the Group’s commitment to meeting India’s growing energy needs while enhancing grid reliability via advanced battery energy storage systems. The company is pursuing a diversified portfolio of clean energy projects, including solar, wind, hybrid, and firm & dispatchable renewable energy solutions.
