Servotech Powers Up: Acquires 27% Stake in Rhine Solar

Servotech Renewable Power System has acquired a 27% stake in Rhine Solar, a solar PV module manufacturer, for Rs 12.14 crore, marking a strategic move to strengthen and scale its solar energy business.

Known for its portfolio in LEDs, batteries, inverters, and EV chargers, Servotech’s solar operations have so far remained limited to a smaller residential and commercial scale. This acquisition signals the company’s transition toward becoming a fully integrated solar solutions provider, enabling it to significantly expand its commercial solar panel production capacity.

Rhine Solar, which operates a 100 MW manufacturing facility, reported a provisional turnover of Rs 82 crore in FY 2024–25, up from Rs 60 crore in the previous fiscal year. Servotech Managing Director Raman Bhatia stated that the company will now focus on producing next-generation N-type TOPCon 12 busbar solar panels, known for superior efficiency, performance, and durability.
