Inox Wind has announced steady progress on the execution of a 990 MW turnkey wind project, part of a larger 1,500 MW framework agreement with Purvah Green, a subsidiary of CESC and the flagship renewables arm of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group. The project spans multiple locations across Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
“We will commence phased commissioning of the project starting in FY26,” said Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO of Inox Wind. This order marks the largest ever awarded by an independent power producer to a wind OEM in India.
Purvah Green expressed confidence in the collaboration. “Our partnership with Inox Wind is a key step in accelerating our renewable energy growth. This project is central to our green energy ambitions,” said Sandeep Kashyap, CEO – Renewables, RPSG Group.
The initiative reflects Purvah Green’s strategic focus on expanding its wind and solar power portfolio across India.
