3GW Ready: Pahal Solar’s New Era of Manufacturing

Pahal Solar has expanded its solar module manufacturing capacity to 3 gigawatts (GW) across two facilities, following its inclusion in India’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) and certification under the BIS 2023 standards.

The expansion, confirmed in the ALMM list dated February 7, 2026 (R-72015008), enables the company to supply solar modules for government-backed and large-scale projects across India. This positions Pahal Solar to cater to rising demand from utility-scale, commercial, and public-sector installations, including flagship initiatives such as the PM Surya Ghar Yojana. Chairman and Managing Director Paresh Shingala said the move underscores the company’s focus on quality, scale, and self-reliance.

The additional capacity will support the manufacture of high-efficiency solar modules and strengthen domestic solar manufacturing, helping reduce reliance on imports. Pahal Solar plans to continue investing in innovation, operational efficiency, and local value addition to support India’s long-term energy security objectives.
