NGEL Power Surge: 66.18 MW Added to Bikaner Solar Project

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has declared the commercial operation of the fourth part capacity of 66.18 MW at its Kalasar Solar Energy Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, effective October 10, 2026. Executed through its step-down subsidiary, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), this additions forms part of the 650 MW solar component of the 500 MW REMCL RTC project. With this commissioning, NGEL’s total installed capacity has reached 11,328.69 MW, while the overall NTPC Group installed capacity stands at 91,572 MW.
