Adani Launches ₹5338 Cr Ganga Path Project in Bihar

The Adani Group has established a new subsidiary, Sultanganj Sabour Road Limited (SSRL), with an initial investment of ₹1,00,000, to oversee the development of the Ganga Path project connecting Sultanganj, Bhagalpur, and Sabour in Bihar.

The project will be executed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model and focuses on developing critical road infrastructure to enhance regional connectivity. The Ganga Path project carries an estimated cost of ₹4,450.17 crore, while Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) has secured the contract as the lowest bidder at ₹5,338 crore, which is 19.95% above the estimated project value.

The formation of SSRL marks a strategic step in the Adani Group’s continued expansion within India’s infrastructure development sector. Through this initiative, AEL aims to streamline project execution, strengthen its road development portfolio, and leverage upcoming opportunities in the transport infrastructure domain.

The Adani Group, already a prominent player in infrastructure and logistics, is also actively engaged in major railway development projects both within India and overseas, underscoring its commitment to advancing the nation’s connectivity and mobility ecosystem.
