The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has called for bids to construct two road over bridges (ROBs) in Chhattisgarh, aimed at enhancing connectivity along key routes of the National Highway network.
The first project involves building a two-lane ROB at Level Crossing No. AB-72, located at km 357.370 on NH-78 (renumbered as NH-43) between Surajpur and Ambikapur. The estimated cost of this contract is ₹28.4 crore.
The second project, valued at ₹63.15 crore, pertains to the construction of another two-lane ROB at Level Crossing No. AB-27 (Belbahara ROB), situated at km 264.000 on NH-43 (formerly NH-78), between Manendragarh and Ambikapur. This bridge will span the railway line between Udalkachar and Boridand stations, corresponding to railway chainage 937.14–937.15.
Each project is to be completed within 18 months from the date of commencement.
The deadline for bid submission for both projects is 09 June 2025.
